Final Fantasy VII Script

(They leave Costa del Sol and head south, until they reach a mountain pass. A man is resting there)

         "Whew!"
         "Hey!"
         "You're actually talking to me."

Cloud
         "What is it?"

         "I just passed a guy in a black cape back there."
         "I just tried to tell him that it's dangerous up ahead, and he ignored me!"

Cloud
         "Sephiroth...."

Aerith
         "There was a black-cloaked guy here, too?"

Tifa
         "Let's hurry on."

(They continue on, past the mountain pass, passing a Mako reactor and crossing many mine-car tracks, until they reach a bridge. The other two are there.)

Red XIII
         "Wha? Oh, it's you."
         "There seems to be an instrument in that hut that manipulates this bridge."
         "Perhaps it's best if we rest a moment."

(The camera moves over to show the hut.)

         "The shack is here!! (^^);"

Cloud
         "Ok, then...."

         PHS
         Let's move on!

         PHS

(Change party members)

(You continue)

(They cross the upper bridge and enter the hut.)

Cloud
         "OW!! Sure is tight in here..."
         "Come on, Cloud, don't let it get to you. Let's see... this is it."
         "Maybe if I turn this..."
         "...something should happen."

(Cloud turns the switch. The drawbridge lowers and the other party members run across.)

(He leaves)

Aerith
         "How cute!!"

Tifa
         "Yes!! ....how cute."

Cloud
         "What should we do?"

***Cloud

         "Times are tough... I'm taking the treasure."

Tifa
         "Oh! Cloud! Your hair looks like a Chocobo!"

Aerith
         "Cloud......"

(After a battle with a Cockatrice [ the mommy, we presume ], you receive 10 Phoenix Downs.)

Cloud
         "It's got nothing to do with us. Let's just leave it."

Aerith
         "Cloud......"

(Cloud continues. Along the way, he climbs a pile of rubble and comes across a hidden room. A miner lives there.)
 
         "Hey! How'd you ever wind up around here?"
         "Look, I'm sorry but, I can't do a thing for you!"
         "Oh boy!! Corel sure has gone to pot. It used to be a famous coal mining town!"
         "They say there were more jobs than you could shake a..."
         "Well, you get the picture!"
         "Now, it's nothing but a miserable pit! Me, my bulldozer... everything's out of work."
         "Got no job... I can't even show my face. 'Bout all that's left for me is to just live in this hole all day."

(Can't help? Not so. Cloud grabs some treasure from his room and continues. Crossing a long suspended bridge across a deep gorge, he arrives in North Corel.)
